Tender Requirements

  • Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes referencing the asset
  • If fewer than three bidders participate, RTA may cancel the tender or adopt an alternative leasing mechanism
  • RTA may invite the highest bidders or those with the strongest concepts to participate in a final offer round, if required.
  • The successful bidder must sign the lease agreement and submit the performance bond within three working days of award notification
  • Minimum lease term: three years.
  • Minimum bid increment: AED 1,000.
  • Harbor Real Estate reserves the right to invite the second-highest bidder if the successful bidder does not respond within three working days.
Tender Requirements and Terms and Conditions
  • Retail common area management shall be the responsibility of the investor.
  • The award of the bid shall be subject to the approval of the RTA Sell & Lease Committee.
  • Live cooking is strictly not allowed under any circumstances.
  • The investor shall ensure the availability of the required MEP provisions for the proposed units prior to bid submission.
  • Bids shall be evaluated and awarded based on the proposed nancial offer, concept quality, and the level of innovation in the submitted proposals.
  • RTA reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, in whole or in part, at its sole discretion, without assigning any reason.
  • The winner must pay 5% of the value of the contract as a refundable Security deposit to RTA.
  • The bidder must have valid Trade License or Initial Trade License in his name and bid with a company name.
  • The preparatory period is 3 months.
  • Conditional on provider’s approval 5% VAT will be applied.
